BFRC Energy rating A. Tested and certified to meet the highest thermal standard currenly obtainable. Lower heating bills. Reduces cold spots in a room. Can help to reduce condensation.
70mm (front to back) Profile with 3mm external wall thickness This high specification gives extra strength for greater security and weatherproofing
Fully welded construction Effectively the frames and sashes are one continuous piece of uPVC. Frames cannot distort and weather cannot penetrate these joints
Internally glazed (Glass is removed from the inside) Extra security and easier maintenance.
Scotia beading Better looking windows that avoid the “slab faced” appearance of older designs.
Low visibility gaskets (weatherseals) Theses high performance sealing gaskets are black to avoid discolouration and are hidden (when viewed straight on).
Co extruded gaskets (weatherseals) All the gaskets in our windows are bonded to the profile. These cannot shrink back from the corners ensuring maximum weatherproofing.
28mm dual seal glazing units (technical explanation) 28mm sealed units for excellent insulation performance and the dual seal system is shown to give better reliability than standard sealed units.
3 passive and 6 active locking points per sash . Weatherproofing and security are enhanced by having locking points in all 4 corners and two opposing sides .
High gloss finish Better looking and easier to keep clean than some cheaper systems.
Night vent facility Opening windows can be locked ajar to allow background ventilation.
Auto-locking handles Our handles automatically lock when in the closed position and are released with a push button on the inside. For further security the push button can be disabled with a key.
