Timber fascias, bargeboards and soffits on pitched roofs are normally completely removed and replaced by uPVC boards. Where possible the lowest row of tiles is lifted to improve access. These tiles are replaced when the new boards are in place. Where roofing felt has been disturbed this is removed and replaced by reinforced PVC sheeting which is dressed into the new guttering.
Fascia boards on flat roofs are normally covered to avoid disturbing the roofing felt, which is often very brittle.
Running repairs to rafter ends, cement joints, Etc. are included in our all-in price.
We only use stainless steel fixings.
Various methods of access are used (including ladders and scaffolding) depending on site conditions.
